Spinach and Artichoke Dip

This “dip” can be also a hummus as well. I like to spice things up by saying “dip” ..hehe. But anyway, I used chickpeas as the base and thickener. A food processor is needed for this recipe because it blends it to creamy perfection! Hope you guys enjoy 🙂

Spinach and Artichoke Dip

1/2 can of chickpeas (drained)

1/2 a jar of artichokes (with oil)

sautéed spinach (about a 1/4 cup)

fresh squeezed lemon

sprinkle of salt and pepper

Combine all ingredients into a food processor and blend until creamy. I topped mine with some smoked paprika for some added seasoning.
