Energy Balls!

I call these babies ” Energy Balls!” Because they are delicious, easy to make, and will give you that extra boost you need. I coated these with sesame seeds. Sesame seeds are a great plant source for iron. Great for snacking, especially anyone with anemia and/or someone allergies to nuts. It’s a great alternative. Try this recipe out ! 🙂

Recipe for Energy Balls: 

(This makes about 10 balls)
4 dates – pitted and cut into small pieces
1/2 cup of rolled oats
1/3 cup of sunflower seed butter
1 tsp of vanilla
1 tsp of cinnamon
Handful of sesame seeds

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients ( except for sesame seeds ) together in a ball. Roll the ball in sesame seeds so they are coated and place in the fridge for 30 min. Enjoy!
