Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Bars

Nom Nom Nom!

  • 2 3/4 cups of oat flour (or just put rolled oats in a food processor or blender until it becomes a flour-like consistency)
  • 3 ripe mashed bananas
  • 1/4 cup of coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1.4 tsp. of cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 stick of grass-fed butter ( you can use 1/4 C of melted coconut oil as a substitute)
  • chocolate chips (as many as you want!) I used about 1/2 a cup of mini chocolate chips.
  • * Optional: for added fats and richness, you can add 1 tbsp. of creamy almond butter* This can also be an added egg replacer along with the bananas in this recipe.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Start mixing the mashed bananas, sugar, butter, salt, and vanilla, and cinnamon together.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together oat flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  • Combine both wet and dry ingredients into one bowl
  • Pour in chocolate chips and mix together
  • Spead over a greased pan (I usually use parchment paper) onto a 9×9 pan
  • Bake for about 35-38 min. Some ovens are hotter than others so watch your banana bread mixture throughout this time and continue to check and see if it is ready by inserting a toothpick and having it come out clean.
  • Let it cool! Then cut your banana bread into bar-like shapes and enjoy!
